… the boys play fantasy football… scratch that… the boys OBSESS over fantasy football… so in college… a couple of girlfriends and i decided we should have a fantasy rose ceremony competition while watching ABC’s The Bachelor…
… now i admit… that this is completely mindless television… but ya know what… i work VERY hard and long hours… and over-commit to lots of things… i am a busy little bee… and i’ve honestly found… that making a commitment to watch the bachelor with my roommate every Monday night last season (i know, i know… let’s not discuss the outcome)… was INSANELY good for me… because it forced me to slow down, and be mindless… for even just a few hours per week…
…that said… the new season starts on May 18th… and yes, i am excited… and will watch little Miss Jillian from BC… despite the train wreck that was last season…

… and this season… just for a little added entertainment… i’ll be coordinating a lively game of fantasy rose ceremony for me and a few girlfriends…which i’ll explain after the jump…
… it’s really quite easy… and logical… like i said… mindless tv… so i wouldn’t make the accompanying game difficult…
…one person will need to be the coordinator… willing to gather each girl’s “picks” each week… and the game starts after episode #1… once Jillian has met the gentlemen…
How to Play:
…Week 1: Each player picks the 12 girls they think will receive a rose the following week… AND chooses 1 girl– that based on first impressions– they think will be the final candidate… all picks must be submitted to the coordinator before the start of the next episode…
…For the rest of the Season: Following each episode, each player chooses and submits which girls will receive roses the following week. All picks must be submitted before the start of each episode. The number of names submitted MUST be the same as the number of roses to be given… no padding your choices…
Scoring:
…100 points for each correct choice, each week…
…500 point bonus for picking the final contestant after episode 1…
Winner:
…is obviously the person with the most points… and the prize is determined by the players… there is the option of a buy-in to play… but really for me it’s just as fun to see if you make the right choices… even without that cash prize…
… and in case you aren’t familiar with upcoming Bachelorette Jillian Harris… she was the 3rd place lady on last season’s Bachelor… and she is SUPER cute and clever… i’m as excited to watch what she wears as i am to see the drama unfold… check out some of her awesome wardrobe choices from the bachelor which were documented and explored on the fabulous little blog sharp in san diego…
